Dear Mungret Alumni,<\/p>\n
This year’s reunion will be on Friday, 2nd<\/sup> September at Castletroy. \u00a0The details are outlined in the enclosed\/attached circular. Many thanks to Karl Roche and the PPU Committee for all their good work over the years, with the added mission in 2016 of finding a worthy alternative to Adare Manor.<\/p>\n I greatly enjoy our reunions and I have particularly warm memories of the 2014 reunion when we had an excellent attendance to celebrate in style the 40th<\/sup> anniversary of the school’s closing. There were many highlights; two in particular – the dinner in the chapel arranged by Roger Fitzgerald and the President’s address by Seamus Dennison – gave the occasion the dignity it deserved.<\/p>\n This year’s event will be neither as lavish nor as formal, but I would encourage you to attend if you can. There will be a special welcome for the Boys of \u201966.<\/p>\n Old father time may be our enemy but there is plenty of life in us yet. We have a bond that is very special and we have a camaraderie that is unique.
