Accordingly, our president Seamus Dennison and the council are extending an invitation to all past pupils to what will be our own college gathering. With the very kind permission of the Limerick\u00a0 Christian Centre we can use the college for our dinner on that night.<\/p>\n<p>To assist all our colleagues in making plans for this event we are pleased to give you an outline of events which will be run over two dates in September. These details are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday 5<sup>th<\/sup> Sept:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Golf outing arranged for 12.00pm at Adare Manor Golf and Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of prizes and dinner to follow at 7.30pm in the Stand Hotel, Limerick, which will be our base for the weekend.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Saturday 6<sup>th<\/sup> Sept:<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1pm: Tour of college building and grounds (optional) conducted with the help of the Limerick Christian Centre.<\/li>\n<li>6.00pm: Coach will collect all those staying at the Strand Hotel.<\/li>\n<li>6.30pm: Mass and AGM<\/li>\n<li>7.30pm: Drinks reception on the college grounds.<\/li>\n<li>8.00pm: Seated for dinner.<\/li>\n<li>12.00pm: Festivities close.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Accommodation has been arranged at the Strand Hotel, Limerick City with a special group rate of \u20ac56.50 each sharing, bed &amp; breakfast per night for a double room. There are triple rooms for parties of three sharing which is at a very competitive price at \u20ac41.66 per head all inclusive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Bookings can now be made in advance by contacting Amy Gribben 061-421888.<\/p>\n<p>Please mention Mungret College group and have your personal credit card details available.<\/p>\n<p>The council decided that the dress code for the evening of Sat 6<sup>th<\/sup> will be either Black Tie or Jacket and Tie (preferably college tie).<\/p>\n<p>Prices for the event, which will be partly subsidised, will be notified in late July. However, anyone intending on coming and wish to book accommodation should do so immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, it would be most accommodating, if past pupils would indicate their presence at the event by emailing <a href=\"mailto:karlfroche@eircom.net\">karlfroche@eircom.net<\/a>, This would assist us in negotiations with the caterers on the likely numbers.
