A little from Pat Cash

Pat Cash (b1936)
Mungret 1951 -1954

Eventually got a Maths and Physics degree in 1965 from London University. I then worked for a mining company for 7 years
Married a Vancouver girl in Eastbourne and emigrated with children – 2 girls and one boy, all under 3 – to Vancouver in 1974.
Worked on computers and systems for a mining engineering company for 23 years.
Now retired with wife Ruth and Rhodesian Ridgeback Ruby. Snowbirds in Arizona for 4 months. Children are in Houston, London and Banff.
Try to keep myself mentally challenged.

Wrote two books…

Currently writing a golf App for the iPhone. Also learning a language – music – although I have no musical talent whatsoever.
Arthritis and a Black & Tan most evenings plus the odd ‘Tare Away’ keep me going as well as being an actively involved practicing Catholic.
Lastly, although I didn’t like it at the time, I am now very glad that I went to Mungret; I am even more glad that they didn’t expel me.
